Self-lubrication roller chains (A series)
ANSI standard (SL) and ANSI HEAVY (SLR)
Self-lubrication roller chains require no lubrication. The special sintered bush is filled with high-quality oil during the production process and the pins are subject to chemical treatment to achieve the minimum wear of the bush. The plates are also subject to additional chemical treatment. The above mentioned adjustments result in reduction of chain extension, guaranteeing its longer service life.
The main difference between the self-lubrication roller chains SL and SLR consists in their breaking load which is about 30 per cent higher in the SLR chains.
The SL and SLR chains are suitable for all applications where the chain cannot be lubricated for any reason at a later time, for example due to the damage to the final product (oil contamination). Therefore, these products are broadly applied in the paper, electronics and food industry.
The self-lubrication roller chains SL and SLR are fully interchangeable with the standard roller chains.
The standard chain pitch ranges from 12.7 mm (0.500 inch) up to 50.8 mm (2.000 inch)

Self-lubrication roller chains with seals MF (chains of A and B series)
The self-lubrication roller chains with seals MF can be used when, for any reasons, the chains SL or SLR cannot be used, for example in a very dusty and abrasive environment.
The high-quality lubricant in these chains is closed between the pin and the bush which is additionally protected with the seal to prevent from dirt intrusion.
Notice: operating temperature ranging between -10 °C and +70°C; operating speed from 25 m/min. to 50m/min as the maximum; it is not possible to use the offset link!
The standard chain pitch ranges from 25.4 mm (1.000 inch) up to 76.2 mm (3.000 inch)
